I’m Toni, a māmā and Māori midwife based in Ōtautahi / Christchurch. I feel so honoured to support whānau through pregnancy, birth and the early days with pēpi.

My care is holistic, relaxed and whānau-centred, grounded in the belief that pregnancy and birth are natural, powerful life experiences. I love weaving mātauranga Māori into care while warmly embracing all cultures and ways of being. My aim is for you to feel safe, supported, informed and confident as you make decisions for you and your whānau.

I work closely with five midwives in a supportive practice, Ōhua Midwives and alongside health professionals when needed, ensuring your care is personalised and well held. As both a midwife and a māmā, I understand just how important it is to feel genuinely cared for during this journey.

I feel privileged to walk alongside whānau during such a life-changing journey. Let’s work together to create a birthing experience that feels meaningful and empowering for you and your whānau. You’ll find me in Linwood on Tuesday mornings and in town on Wednesday afternoons for antenatal clinics.
