Thank you for your inquiry, and congratulations on your pregnancy!

While I am unable to provide care all the way through to your birth, I am currently mentoring two wonderful new graduate midwives who will be able to take over your care from February. Until then, I am happy to see you in my clinic and provide care through the early months of your pregnancy.

I would like to highlight some of the strengths of having a new graduate midwife:

They are not new to midwifery; each has completed a 4-year Bachelor of Midwifery, with more than 2,400 hours of clinical experience, including a minimum of 40 births under supervision and hundreds of antenatal and postnatal visits.

In their first year of practice, they are fully supervised and supported by a mentor, so you’ll benefit from the guidance of two midwives working together.

They bring fresh knowledge and the latest research to their practice, along with enthusiasm and dedication.
