Congratulations! What a wonderful time in your life this is! ... and nerve-racking and exciting and terrifying and joyous. Please note that unfortunately at this time I do not have the capacity to care for people having their first baby in pregnancy and birth, but I would be delighted to care for you in the postnatal period after your baby is born. Please get in touch if this is something you are interested in. If you are having difficulty finding a midwife for pregnancy, I suggest you contact the hospital community midwifery team on 0800 267 686. For people who have had a baby before I am able to provide the full spectrum of midwifery care through pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period.

I graduated in 2010 and spent my first few years as a midwife working at Middlemore Hospital while taking breaks to have my own babies. I have worked in primary birthing units and in the community midwifery team at Tauranga Hospital and have completed a postgraduate diploma in midwifery practice

I have six years of experience as a Lead Maternity Carer (LMC) and love walking with women and their families through their childbirth experience and supporting them as their family grows. I am comfortable with diversity and believe in the importance of individualised care. I am happy to work with you if you have a non-traditional family structure, if you have a complex health history, if you are neurodiverse, if you need the support of translators, if your age or BMI is outside the ‘normal’ range, etc. To book with me, please email me below or fill in the contact form on my website. I have clinics on Thursdays at Leading Midwifery Care on Fraser Street in Tauranga for antenatal appointments and will come to see you at home after your baby is born.
