I’m Emily, a midwife based in Ōtautahi/Christchurch. As both a midwife and a māmā, I see the journey to parenthood as an incredibly special and empowering time. My role is to walk alongside you — sharing up-to-date, evidence-based information and supporting you to make the choices that feel right for you and your whānau. My aim is to provide care that helps you feel safe, supported, and confident every step of the way.

I’m a positive person who believes that pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood are normal, beautiful life events. I’ll encourage you to trust your body and will support you toward the best possible birth experience for you and your baby.

I work with a lovely team of midwives in the Homebirth practice, where we focus on supporting home births and minimising unnecessary interventions. When needed, I also provide care in the hospital.

My clinic is in Halswell, and I offer both home and clinic appointments.
