My name is Ayla, I am a māmā to five beautiful children.

Pregnancy and birth are such a special time for you and your whānau and I feel very privileged to walk alongside you during this time. I am passionate about providing holistic care in partnership with whānau that positively impacts your experience, and I believe women and whānau should feel empowered and supported to make their own informed decisions that best align with their values and beliefs.

I provide continuity of care during your pregnancy journey. Beginning in pregnancy through your labour and birth, and 6 weeks after the birth of your baby.

I support normal physiological birth encouraging women to trust in their bodies and the birthing process. However, I acknowledge that not all pregnancies and labour and births are complication free and I will collaboratively work alongside you and other health professionals as indicated.

I support homebirths and births at Te Nikau and Te Rau Kawakawa
