My name is Peta and I am an experienced midwife based in beautiful Wānaka, I am passionate about providing continuity of care midwifery services to local families through every stage of pregnancy, birth, and the early postnatal period.

My philosophy is rooted in holistic care—recognising that pregnancy and birth are not only physical experiences, but deeply emotional and transformative ones as well. I am committed to evidence-based practice, and to supporting women and birthing people to make informed choices that feel right for them, while always prioritising safety for both mother and baby.

I work with the Wānaka Midwives, providing 24/7 care to our community; I have three children myself, and we live in Hāwea.
