Congratulations on your pregnancy! I am a NZ-trained midwife offering maternity care to women and whānau from Wānaka, Hawea, Luggate, Tarras, Cardrona and Queensberry. I am originally from the UK, but have lived in Wānaka with my family since 2007. I am passionate about providing women-centred care, supporting you to feel confident, safe and well informed throughout your pregnancy, labour & birth and the first few weeks postnatally. I believe that birth is a natural, physiological process and will work closely with you to facilitate a positive, empowering experience, whether that means birthing at home, at Rākai Kahukura, our primary birthing unit in Albert Town, or in hospital. I love getting to know the women and whānau in my care, and feel privileged to share such a special journey.

I attend births at Rākai Kahukura and home births. If you plan to birth in Dunedin or Invercargill I can connect you with a midwife to provide labour care, and provide postnatal care when you get home.
