Congratulations on your pregnancy! I am a NZ-trained midwife offering maternity care within the Wānaka Midwives team. This includes antenatal care, labour & birth care (when you birth locally) and postnatal care for 6 weeks in your home. I am originally from the UK, but moved to Aotearoa in 1995, and have lived in Wānaka with my family since 2007. I am passionate about providing women-centred care and up-to-date information that supports you to make informed choices that are right for you. I believe women should be supported to birth in a place and environment that they choose, be that home, a primary birthing unit or hospital. I work closely with the obstetric teams in Dunedin and Invercargill when we need their input.

I attend births at: Rākai Kahukura, Wanaka Primary Maternity Unit and home births. If you plan to birth in Dunedin or Invercargill I can connect you with an intrapartum midwife, and provide postnatal care when you get home.
