About me
Hello and congratulations on your pregnancy!
My name is Sara, and I'm a newly qualified midwife. I am a mum of two energetic boys and have been living in Rotorua since 2013.
I work in partnership with Bronwyn Fleet, a very experienced midwife and lactation consultant. Together we share a small caseload, caring for four women each per month. By keeping our numbers low, we are able to provide individualised, culturally safe, and whānau-centred care, with time to build strong and trusting relationships. Our practice is further supported by two other experienced midwives.
I am passionate about supporting women and their whānau through pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period, and aim to create a space where you feel heard, respected and supported in your choices. I recognise that each whānau brings their own ways of knowing, and my goal is to work in partnership with you to provide individualised care that supports a positive and empowering experience.
As a new graduate, I bring up-to-date knowledge, enthusiasm and a thoughtful approach to care, while always being well support by experienced midwives within the practice.
If you’d like to know more about how Bron and I work together, or whether we would be the right midwifery team for you, please feel free to email, text or call. When you get in touch, it’s helpful to know:
- What number baby this is for you
- Where you live
- When you are due
I look forward to hearing from you.
