I was born and raised in Finland. I have 3 children aged 13, 8 and 5 with my Kiwi husband. I've been a midwife for over 10 years and absolutely love my job!

I enjoy the unique maternity system we have here in NZ. It was one of the reasons why we relocated to NZ after having our first son in Finland. I enjoy the continuity of care as I'll look after you throughout your pregnancy, labour & birth and up to 6weeks postpartum.

I provide calm, kind, informative and professional care to suit your needs. During labour and birth I support you no matter how the special day unfolds for you. I particularly enjoy supporting waterbirths and normal physiology during childbirth by minimising interventions but I'm also experienced in high risk care and act promptly if the situation requires.

You won't need to travel once you've had your baby as I'll do home visits all over Hawke's Bay.
