Hello! I am a UK trained midwife with many years of midwifery practice in New Zealand; as a "core" hospital midwife, a midwife educator and an LMC. I believe that the most effective care is grounded in a strong partnership between a woman and her midwife based on clear and open communication. Living in rural Kaipara, my primary area of practice is supporting homebirth for women in our rural communities, however I can also support a few women who need to birth at Whangarei Hospital.
