Hi I am Jo, congratulations on your pregnancy. I am in my 12th year of being an LMC with Miramar midwives.

Before becoming a midwife I worked as a registered nurse for 20 years. My husband & I have 3 adult children.

I love my job and will provide you with safe, personalised & evidence based care. I am passionate about supporting women and families over this exciting and life changing time. I provide care from booking to 4-6 weeks after the birth of your baby. My case load is 4-5 women a month. All births are at Wellington Hospital.

I am a strong advocate for my clients. I will support you to safely birth your baby. Whether that be a natural birth, water birth, or birth with pain relief, including epidural; or you may know you need a planned caesarean.

I work alongside 3 lovely midwives & I also have good collegial relationships with the Wellington Hospital Team, if you have any complications.
