Hello, and congratulations on your pregnancy! I’m Elise, a registered midwife working in Christchurch. I am based on the west side of Christchurch but not limited to this area.

I am passionate about empowering women and whānau during pregnancy, labour, birth and through into parenthood, by working in partnership to support you and your individual needs.

I believe birth is a normal part of life, and will ensure to provide you with evidence-based information that will support you in your decision making.

I work in an established practice called Halswell Village Midwives, who I work closely with. As a practice we strive to provide continuity of care to you and your whānau.

I support birth at home, in the primary units and at the Christchurch Women’s hospital, only when medically indicated.

My clinic is on a Monday, based in Halswell, and I will provide home visits to you after birth for up to 6 weeks.
