I’m Dani, a Lead Maternity Carer (LMC) Midwife based in North Canterbury, where I live with my family.

My passion for midwifery grew during my first pregnancy, inspiring a deep interest in women’s health. As an LMC, I am committed to building strong woman–midwife partnerships that provide individualized care, support, and empowerment for women and their families throughout the entire maternity journey, including antenatal care, labour and birth, and postnatal care in early parenthood.

I provide care throughout North Christchurch and North Canterbury in the Waimakariri and Hurunui districts.

I work with the wonderful 'Your Choice Midwives' practice and alongside my practice partner Ri Oosthuysen. Together, we share on-call responsibilities with alternate weekends off call.

My clinics are Wednesday afternoon at Cranford Street and Thursday afternoon at Rangiora Health Hub. I provide postnatal home visits for 4–6 weeks after the birth of your baby.
