Kia ora! I am Charlie.

Originally from the Waikato, I moved to Ōtepoti to start my midwifery journey and have since set up home with my partner and our daughters. I am working alongside Absolute Midwifery.

My philosophy emphasises whānau-led care and inclusivity of all whānau structures.

Throughout your pregnancy I will share evidence-based information and resources, facilitating informed decision making.

My goal is for the whānau I work with to leave my care feeling empowered, supported, and respected.

Supporting the physiology of labour and birth, without compromising additional care is important to me. I work with you, and our medical team, to advocate for appropriate care.

I provide full LMC care to whānau: Pregnancy, birth (home or hospital) and up to six weeks postnatally.

My caseload size is 2 birthing whānau a month.
