Kia ora! I am Charlie

Originally from the Waikato, I moved to Ōtepoti in 2017 to start my midwifery journey and have since set up home with my partner and our daughters. I am working with Absolute Midwifery, rejoining them post-maternity leave.

My philosophy emphasises inclusive, whānau-led care. Throughout your pregnancy I will share evidence-based information and resources, facilitating informed decision making. My goal is for the families I work with to leave my care feeling empowered, supported, and respected.

Supporting the physiology of labour and birth, without compromising advocacy and support for additional care at all stages, is important to me. I work with you and our medical team when needed, to provide appropriate care.

I provide full LMC care to whānau: Pregnancy, birth (home or hospital) and up to six weeks postnatally.
