Hello and congratulations on your pregnancy!

I am a Midwife and māmā based in the coastal region of Taranaki. I have three sons aged 9, 12 & 13. I was called to Midwifery after having my children and have a deep passion for protecting this experience.

Throughout our time together, I focus on understanding what is important to you and facilitating in-depth discussion to ensure you are making truly informed decisions at every stage. My goal is to support you and your whānau to have a positive and empowering experience – what ever that may look like for you.

I have a deeply rooted respect and admiration for the human body. I am passionate about homebirth and providing holistic care, wherever that may be. While medical intervention is sometimes recommended, we approach this together from an informed place.

I work closely with Claire Casby and Adré Hunter at Stony River Midwives. We all share a similar philosophy and keep our caseloads small to better care for you and your whānau.

We also now hold a walk-in antenatal clinic at Coastal Care Community Centre in Ōpunake every Thursday 10am-1pm. We offer free pregnancy tests, pre-conception info & advice, blood pressure checks for pregnant women, antenatal appointments for our clients and new bookings and enquiries. When you book with me, we can do our antenatal appts at whichever clinic suits you best.
