I’m Miranda, a New Zealand-trained midwife providing safe, respectful, and customised care throughout your pregnancy, birth, and postnatal experience.

I began my midwifery career at North Shore Hospital (Auckland) in 2020, then worked at Queenstown Lakes Primary Maternity Unit before settling into practice here in Wānaka.

My approach centres on continuity of care, shared decision-making, and evidence-based practice. I see pregnancy and birth as normal life events and am here to support you emotionally, physically, and clinically through every stage.

I collaborate with local providers such as physiotherapists, acupuncturists, lactation consultants, and mental health services to help ensure a smooth and supported journey.

If complications arise, I work closely with the obstetric teams in Southland Hospital (Invercargill) and Queen Mary Hospital (Dunedin), ensuring timely, seamless care when needed.
