Kia ora, my name is Shardae.

For me, midwifery was a calling. I love my job and find my work fulfilling. It is a privilege to connect with and support women and their whanau. I will walk alongside you providing antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care. My philosophy of practice is one which sees pregnancy, birth and parenthood as transformational events and value:

- Knowledge and information sharing

- Underpinning of safety and evidence based care

- Empowerment and growth of the self

- Holistic health and care

My personality is calm, kind and understanding in nature and I am of NZ European, Maori and Samoan heritage.

In order to provide safe care - I have every 2nd weekend off call - I will be supported by my amazing back up Lili Tse and my practice group Mother Well.
