My name is Samantha, I am a New Zealand Registered Midwife currently working at Auckland City Hospital as a core midwife,

I provide LMC care for women and families from early pregnancy up to six weeks postnatal. I am passionate about good health during pregnancy, safe physiological labour & birth and the importance of good health in the postnatal period. I support women to birth in primary settings and aim to provide individualised care for mothers and whānau. In more complex pregnancies I work within hospital settings alongside doctors, obstetricians and whānau to support women towards the best possible outcomes by providing evidence based information to support you to make informed decisions. I predominantly work with whānau from Māori and Pacifika backgrounds but enjoy working along side and supporting people from all cultures and backgrounds.
