Congratulations on your pregnancy! My name is Nicci, and I work alongside women and families in Queenstown and the surrounding local area. I provide women-centred, supportive, and evidence-based care that empowers you to make informed decisions throughout your pregnancy journey. My passion is to help women feel safe and confident during birth, sharing knowledge and providing clinically safe care for you and your baby. If you or your baby require specialist obstetric care, I collaborate with Invercargill or Dunedin Hospital.

Before becoming a midwife, I worked as an employed paramedic for 19 years. My background in emergency medicine has honed my skills in providing clinically safe effective care, including a broader understanding of various medical conditions.

As a mother I understand the privilege of being with families experiencing the joy and excitement of pregnancy and birth.

I work alongside Keri, Grace and Tomoko, together we make up the small team from Whakatipu Midwives. We are based in Queenstown and offer antenatal, labour, birth and postnatal care for up to six weeks. Midwifery care is provided 24/7 as clinically indicated and discussed with you more at the time of booking.
