About me
Kia Ora and congratulations on your pregnancy!
I am Mansha Prasad, a self-employed (LMC) midwife.
I am based in the South Auckland region and hold antenatal clinics on Fridays at Nga Hau Mangere Birthing Centre. I provide labour and birth cares at Middlemore Hospital or Nga Hau Mangere Birthing Centre.
Pregnancy and childbirth are significant and life-changing events. It’s important to empower whānau to trust and work with their bodies (when safe to) and aim to have a physiological birth. However, in the presence of complications with challenging factors, interventions may be necessary and significant in providing safe care. For women who may need this extra support I also work with other health professionals.
If I am not available to provide care on certain days, a backup midwife will be available.
My normal business hours are Monday – Friday from 9 am – 4:30 pm.
If you would like to contact me, you can do this by filling out the form below or by texting 02108333356 during business hours. I will respond to you during these working hours.
Please include: your name, the area you live in, your EDD (estimated due date), what number pregnancy this is, and any known medical conditions.
