My name is Aroha Port, I am a registered midwife working in the Dunedin community. While I would be your primary midwife, I work with the experienced and supportive midwives at Harmony Midwives.

I support birthing people at home and in hospital, and work collaboratively with midwifery, obstetric and medical teams at Dunedin Hospital as required. Every experience is unique, therefore I aim provide individualised, respectful care.

I am passionate about supporting whānau to feel informed, empowered and nurtured throughout their hapūtanga. As a Māori midwife, I care deeply about promoting inclusivity to Māori and diverse whānau.

I provide care throughout pregnancy, labour, birth and the postnatal period until your pēpi is 6 weeks old.
