Kia Ora! My name is Johanne I am a midwife working in North Canterbury. I want to offer a huge congratulations on your pregnancy. It would be an honour to be part of this journey with you.

I run my clinics out of the Rangiora Birthing unit, and cover Northern Christchurch suburbs, the Waimakariri area, North Canterbury/Hurunui district.

I believe pregnancy and birth are significant life events, my aim is to walk alongside you, offering supportive, respectful, trustworthy and individualised care, while providing clear information so you feel confident to make informed decisions that are right for you, your baby, and your whānau.

I am passionate about supporting physiological birth, while also recognising that plans can change, I want to support you to birth where you feel most comfortable, whether that is in a tertiary hospital setting, a primary birthing unit, or from the comfort of your own home.
