Kia ora! I'm Ilana, a registered midwife, caring for families in Rangiora and across North Canterbury. I’m a māmā to two fun teenagers and am excited to support families in bringing new life into the world. I am privileged to accompany whānau with calm, compassionate guidance throughout their maternity journey, prioritising physical, emotional and cultural safety.

I am passionate about supporting women to birth where they feel most comfortable, and when clinically indicated, I collaborate with obstetricians and other health professionals to ensure safe and holistic care.

I work within a wonderful practice that values kindness, partnership and continuity of care. The best part of my job is walking alongside women through one of the most special chapters of their lives, honouring women’s choices, from early pregnancy, through labour and birth, and the first 4-6 weeks after baby is born.

My clinics are held at Rangiora Health Hub, or I can offer antenatal home visits in the Oxford area.
