A bit about me, I’m a māmā blessed with two cheeky tama ataahua - beautiful teenage sons, together we are a whānau of three. My boys are my world and #1 reason for pursuing midwifery, we have a saying in our kainga “Find what you love and follow it to glory!” So here I am, He Kaiwhakawhānau!

I'm proudly of Māori (Ngāpuhi), Niuean (Alofi), and Scottish whakapapa. My wider whānau and hoa bring a vibrant mix of cultures, identities, and community to life. My sons, and people who walked alongside me, shape my approach to providing whānau-centred care.

Life's been a colourful journey, walking my own hapūtanga and raising tamariki independently. Lived experience guides my commitment to build inclusive, non-judgemental partnerships with whānau of all diversity.

I value partnerships of open communication, trust and informed choice, ensuring whānau feel safe to express themselves during decision making, particularly when consult is needed.

I believe in supporting physiological birth wherever possible while ensuring the clinical safety of māmā and pēpi. I provide continuity of care throughout hapūtanga, whanautanga, and the first 4–6 weeks after pēpi is born, with postnatal care provided in the comfort of your whānau home. I'm based at Green Bay Midwives within a practice of deeply experienced wāhine and work with another midwife Brooke, who will care for whānau when I'm off call. I provide care in West Auckland and some surrounding areas (others by negotiation), with whanautanga - birthing at Waitākere Hospital, Nga Hau Birthing Centre & Home.
