A bit about me.. I’m a māmā blessed with two kind and cheeky tama ataahua (beautiful teenage sons), together we are a whānau/family of three. We have a saying in our kainga/home: “Find what you love and follow it to glory!” So here I am - he Kaiwhakawhānau! (a midwife).

I'm proudly of Māori (Ngāpuhi), Niuean (Alofi), and Scottish whakapapa. My wider whānau and hoa/friends bring a vibrant mix of cultures, identities, and community to life. This guides my approach to delivering whānau centred care.

Hapūtanga is a time of joy and great change, equally a time of vulnerability, felt more intensely by some. Like so many whānau and tangata/people, I've journeyed through the experience of pregnancy and raising tamariki independently. This shapes my commitment to inclusive, non-judgemental, and individualised midwifery partnerships with whānau in all their diversity.

Keeping whānau clinically safe is a priority, alongside building trusting partnerships. I support open communication, informed choice, and ensure whānau voice is at the heart of every decision - especially when additional care and consultation for pēpi/baby and whānau is necessary. I'm based at The Green Bay Midwives working within a practice of deeply experienced wāhine. My backup partner is another Māori midwife who will help with your care when I'm off call. I provide whānau care through antenatal, birth, and postnatal periods in West Auckland, with whanautanga/birthing at Waitākere Hospital. Any patai/questions - fill out the form below.
