About me
Hi and Welcome,
Pregnancy, birth, and this changing season for your whānau is an exciting and significant time. I believe birth is a naturally transformative experience and feel privileged to support you on that journey.
My practice prioritises whānau-centred care, recognising that your wellbeing during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period is deeply connected to the whānau and community around you. I aim to provide support and education in a respectful way, so you can make informed choices that feel empowering for yourself and your whānau.
I live in Wānaka with my 3 children and have experience raising them both in Auckland and rurally in Central Otago. This brings a unique blend of perspective and cultural understanding to my practice.
I provide antenatal, labour and birth, and postnatal care under the New Zealand Lead Maternity Care (LMC) model, supporting continuity of care throughout your pregnancy and up to six weeks postpartum.
I believe every woman’s pregnancy and birth experience is unique. My goal is to ensure you feel safe, informed, and empowered through shared decision-making and evidence-based practice. To provide personalised care and continuity, I maintain a small caseload across the antenatal, birth, and postnatal periods.
If specialist input is required, I work collaboratively with a trusted network of professionals — including obstetricians, GPs, physiotherapists, osteopaths, and mental health specialists — to ensure your individual needs are well supported. I maintain close working relationships with the obstetric teams at Queen Mary Hospital (Dunedin) and Southland Hospital (Invercargill), enabling timely and integrated care as needed.
I look forward to hearing from you. I can be reached through the email enquiry form or via phone in business hours.
My working hours for non-urgent are 10-3pm, Mon-Fri.
