My name is Lydia Burnett, I am a wife and a mum to two beautiful kids. I am passionate about empowering whānau to make informed choices regarding their care during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. As an LMC midwife, it is my role to provide you with up-to-date information about your care and advocate for your decisions, with the aim of achieving the best possible experience. My passion is physiological birth, my practice partners and I predominantly provide support to women and whānau who birth at home or Bethlehem Birthing Centre however, we also support hospital birth if and when needed. I provide care tailored to your needs and work in partnership with other health professionals to ensure a healthy and safe outcome for you and your baby

I work with another midwife called Jasmine Webb, we are on call for each other's clients 50% of the time to ensure a healthy work/life balance, this means either one of us will be at your birth.
