I'm Ashley, a LMC midwife and mother to five beautiful children. I cover the Tauranga - Katikati area.

I have always had an interest in how the human body works, the physiology of pregnancy and birth. I am constantly amazed how strong women are! It is my goal to provide non-judgmental midwifery care from conception until 4-6 weeks postnatally and to share knowledge with you so that you can make your own informed decisions and feel empowered. I enjoy the continuity aspect of community midwifery and I am passionate about promoting physiological birth. If pregnancy or birth complications arise, I will support you in the hospital setting alongside your specialist team.

Appointments are held at my office space at my home in Ōmokoroa on Thursdays.

I work with another midwife, Lydia Burnett. We are on call for each other's clients 50/50 to ensure a healthy work/life balance, this means that either one of us will be at your birth.

I care for women planning to birth at home or at the Bethlehem Birthing Centre, however I am happy to support you in the hospital setting if your pregnancy deviates from normal. If you are due from April 2026 and would like to book with me, please contact Lydia Burnett or Jasmine Webb on their Find Your Midwife page. They are looking after clients for me until I return from maternity leave in March.
