Hello and congratulations. I'm Ashley, a LMC midwife and mother to 5. I have recently returned from maternity leave and I am taking 3-4 women a month. I provide care for women in the Tauranga - Katikati area.

I have always had an interest in how the human body works, the physiology of pregnancy and birth. I am constantly amazed how strong women are! It is my goal to provide non-judgmental midwifery care from conception until 4-6 weeks postnatally and to share knowledge with you so that you can make your own informed decisions and feel empowered. I enjoy the continuity aspect of community midwifery and I am passionate about promoting a healthy pregnancy and physiological birth. If pregnancy or birth complications arise, I will support you in the hospital setting alongside your specialist team.

Appointments are held at my office space at my home in Ōmokoroa on Thursdays. I work with another midwife, Lydia Burnett. We're on call for each other's clients 50/50 to ensure a healthy work/life balance, this means that either one of us will be at your birth.
