Talofa lava, Fakaalofa lahi atu and Kia orana! My name is Tyra Fitisemanu-Vila, and I am a proud midwife of Samoan and Niuean descent.

I am passionate about providing woman- and whānau-centred care, supporting you to feel informed, empowered, and confident throughout your pregnancy, birth, and postnatal journey.

As an LMC midwife, I provide continuity of care throughout pregnancy, labour, birth, and up to six weeks postnatal. I care for women with low-risk pregnancies who are suitable to birth at Nga Hau Māngere Birthing Centre.

I feel blessed to work alongside a wonderful team of midwives who share my passion for primary birth and supporting wāhine & whānau
