My name is Emily, and I provide midwifery care in Wānaka and the surrounding areas. Originally from Canada, I began my journey in birth work as a doula and now practise as a midwife, bringing a grounded, compassionate, and warm approach to everything I do.

I offer holistic care that’s informed by the latest evidence. I see pregnancy and birth as a normal physiological process, one that unfolds differently for everyone. My role is to support your unique journey, helping you feel safe, informed, and respected every step of the way. I believe that when people feel genuinely heard and cared for, it creates the conditions for a truly empowering experience.

While I support birth at home, in our beautiful primary birthing unit, and in some cases the hospital, I also work closely with the obstetric team in Dunedin if medical input is needed, ensuring your care is well-supported and seamlessly integrated.
