Hello and congratulations on your pregnancy. My name is Tracye and I am a local registered midwife and I love my job. My midwifery philosophy is based on my belief that pregnancy and birth are natural life events and I believe in providing women and their families with evidence based care and supporting their rights to fully informed choice and consent. I care for women birthing at home, hospital and at Bethlehem Birthing Centre and also those wanting waterbirth.

I believe that each woman brings her own wealth of knowledge and culture and it is my wish to enhance positive pregnancy and birth experiences for the women and families I will have the privilege to care for. I am caring and compassionate, as well as enjoying a good laugh and being a great listener. I have four children of my own aged from 23 to 17 and I understand how bringing new life into your family is an exciting, life changing event.
