My name is Tania & I am a māmā to eight Māori-Samoan tamariki. I whakakapapa to Waikato Tainui, Ngāpuhi, & Te Whānau ā Apanui & am currently working in South Auckland with a group of four other midwives who support primary birthing at the very place I was born, Papakura birthing unit. If needed we work together with the doctors to provide specialised care and follow through into Middlemore Hospital.

I love South Auckland & am passionate about working with the women & whānau in my community to provide a space where they feel respected, educated, & empowered to make informed decisions that are unique to their pregnancy, birth, & postpartum experience.
