Severine Beneteau
About me
Ko Severine tōku ingoa. I am originally from France and have lived in Aotearoa since 2008. I live in Palmerston North with my husband and three tamariki.
I care for around 3–4 whānau each month, allowing me to build genuine relationships and provide individualised care. My approach is calm, compassionate and practical, with a focus on listening, informed choice and supporting you to feel confident in your decisions.
I have a background in hospital midwifery and work as a childbirth educator with Barnardos. I enjoy helping parents understand their options and feel prepared for birth and early parenthood.
Antenatal care is at Pirie St Midwives, with postnatal visits at home. Birth can be at home, Te Papaioea Birthing Centre or hospital, including epidural care if needed.
I welcome whānau of all cultures, backgrounds and family structures, including Rainbow and neurodiverse whānau. My goal is for you to feel safe, respected, heard and involved in your care.
Please contact me using the email form below or by text (text only) on 021 562 738. Please include your full name, due date or the first day of your last menstrual period, whether this is your first baby, and the town you live in. Messages without this information may be delayed. I will reply as soon as I can. Ngā mihi
