About me
Pregnancy and birth is a special life event that is unique to you, your family and your baby. I will support you to navigate this journey by providing information, support and advice to help you decide what is best for you and your baby. I am an experienced midwife who has worked in both urban and rural localities as well as within the hospital and community midwifery settings. However, my heart lies in rural, community midwifery.
I am comfortable with diversity and believe in the importance of individualised care. I love to support people within the Rainbow Community, Neurodiverse Community and anyone who falls within a ‘non-traditional family structure’.
I work in partnership with another midwife, Janine. You will meet us both throughout your pregnancy, have either of us at your birth and then 4-6 weeks after your baby is born.
We are happy to support you to birth at home or at Bay of Islands Maternity Unit, and if needed we will transfer with you to Whangarei Hospital.
For booking enquires please email, text or call 0211533479 during business hours (Monday - Friday 9am-5pm).
We run antenatal clinics in Kawakawa on Tuesday mornings, Paihia on Tuesday afternoons and Kerikeri all day Wednesday.
Please note, we don’t service the Kaeo area. If you are struggling to find a midwife in this area please contact the Bay of Islands or Kaitaia Maternity.
*If you are a repeat client, please get in touch regardless of our availability as we prioritise continuity of care*
