My name is Rangi Pou. I have three grown children of my own, which like many midwives was the catalyst to me pursuing a career in midwifery. I graduated from AUT in Jan 2013. I live and have worked in West Auckland since then, doing both hospital and LMC work.

I believe my job is to give you the appropriate information to support your decision making, as ultimately this is your journey. I do not advocate unnecessary intervention, however I tend to err on the side of caution.

Providing culturally safe, non-judgemental, quality care is important to me.

My clinic is in Glendene on Wednesdays 10am - 4pm, and occasional Thursday mornings. I support births at Waitematā (Waitākere and North Shore Hospital).
