Kia’ora! Congratulations on your pregnancy!

My name is Marina. Originally from Moldova, I completed my education in Ireland where I worked in Dublin’s busiest tertiary hospital providing care for a vast number of women from all cultural, religious and ethnical backgrounds.

I moved to Aotearoa in April '24 and spent some time working as a hospital-based midwife as I immersed myself in the beautiful and rich culture of these Islands.

The values underpinning my practice stem from the belief that pregnancy and birth are profound and empowering experiences which carry intense meaning for the woman, her family and their community. I endeavor to cultivate a relationship with you built on mutual trust and respect. I hope to work in partnership with you to provide you knowledge and support to make informed decisions throughout your pregnancy, birthing and postnatal journey.

I am passionate about the physiological birth process and am happy to support you in your choice of birthing place and practice.

My practice partner, Ariana, and I provide care under a shared model. You may be seen by either of us during your antenatal visits, at the time of your birth, and throughout the postnatal period.
