I am a LMC working in East Auckland, running my clinic from Botany Downs Birthing Unit on a Wednesday. I have been a midwife for 35 years and I have 3 grown up children and 2 grandchildren! I am a Christian and offer an experienced, empathetic, caring, fun, direct and practical approach. I am originally from South Africa. I look after women residing in the Botany and close surrounding areas only. If you are in my area (we can discuss options if out of area) and my philosophy of care appeals to you, please contact me. I support births mainly at Middlemore Hospital and occasionally at Botany Downs Birthing unit. My philosophy aims for safe birth for baby and mum, meticulous antenatal, labour and postnatal care, I consult with the Obstetric Dr's when needed and ensure that all kinds of pain relief, if needed, are available. I do not offer water births. I work with 5 other midwives, known as "Midwives@Botany". My availability is one space in March. I am fully booked for first time mums.

I will either be able to accommodate you or help you find the best suited midwife in our group to care for you.
