My name is Lynnane and I have been a midwife for the past 10 years in Gisborne. I am a familiar face to many māmā who have had their babies through the hospital, as this is where I have spent most of my time as a midwife.

I have a passion for providing whānau-centered, skilled and culturally safe care throughout all stages of pregnancy, birth and postnatally with your new pēpi. I look forward to walking alongside you whilst respecting the unique needs of each māmā and whānau. I have a love for normal pregnancy and birth, however I am experienced in secondary care and where needed I work in collaboration with obstetric colleagues to ensure safe care for you and your baby.

I'm excited to be a part of Ahu Midwifery - a team where our vision for midwifery is aligned. We work closely together which allows us to maintain a sustainable work-life balance with our young families where we share on call urgent care and labour/birth cares.
