My name is Liz McGimpsey, and I am a midwife based in Naenae, practising as part of the Naenae Midwifery Collective. I am currently prioritising care for people who live locally and those connected with the Naenae Medical Centre, as caring for my own community is very important to me.

I offer continuity of care through pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period. I prioritise homebirth and am passionate about primary and physiological birth, while also supporting births at Kenepuru and Hutt Hospitals.

I am a mother of four and have had four positive birth experiences, three at home. These experiences shaped my belief that birth can be a powerful and transformative life event. I believe in trusting the body, informed choice, and supporting decisions that feel right for each individual and whānau.

Our relationship will be a partnership, grounded in respect, open kōrero, and manaakitanga. I look forward to hearing from you.
