Hello and congratulations on your pregnancy!

My name is Laura and I am a midwife working in Ōtautahi, Christchurch. I live centrally with my family and am a proud mum of four.

I offer continuity of care throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period. I work in partnership with women and whānau, taking time to listen and support informed decision-making. I provide evidence-based individualised care while trusting the normal processes of pregnancy and birth. I am happy to support births at home, in primary birthing units, and at Christchurch Women’s Hospital when clinically indicated.

I offer clinic appointments on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at the Midwifery Resource Centre in St Albans.

Outside of midwifery, I love spending time with my family. I especially enjoy watching my children’s sports, getting to the beach, and heading away camping whenever we can. I feel these experiences support my calm, grounded approach to care and the importance I place on family and connection.
