Kia Ora, my name is Laney, I have always had a passion for woman and the amazing ability their body has to birth their baby. I feel strongly about woman gaining back their right to birth how they choose, where they choose, and with who they choose. With medicalisation a women’s authority over her own body, has diminished. It is time we take back our right to birth in a more natural & positive centred environment when there is low risk involved.

I do acknowledge there is still a time and place for medical intervention, which I support when there are risks involved for you or your baby. Together we can plan a safe and individualised birth experience for you.

I work out of Mill Rd Midwives, as a team with Justine Hita, & soon joining our team is Annissa Thompson from the Kaipara Region. She will provide essential cares for our Kaipara/Dargaville/Ruawai Mama. This will allow more time with our own families, as well as be well rested to give highly skilled care to yours.
