I am a Māori Midwife who works in a Māori Midwifery Team to provide Whānau Hapū with culturally and clinically safe LMC Care. We work together to support Kaupapa Māori Birthing Practices and Resources shared through Hapūtanga. We promote care that is Whānau centred and all encompassing for Wāhine Hapū.

I have been a Midwife for 12 years, previously working in South Auckland Primary Unit, Middlemore Hospital, and Lead Maternity Care. I moved home to Hawke's Bay 2 years ago to work for Hawke's Bay Hospital, and now operate as an LMC in a Team to care for Whānau. We support Homebirth for all well Wāhine Hapū and tautoko care in Ata Rangi. It is always a privilege to care for Wāhine and we are honoured to support Whānau here in Kahungunu.
