My name is Kate Wicks, and I am a Hanley’s Farm local offering personalised midwifery care for women and families throughout Queenstown and the surrounding areas.

Having previously worked at Auckland City Hospital, I have experience caring for women with both straightforward and high-risk pregnancies, including those requiring specialist input.

I believe in physiological birth, and my philosophy is centred on providing care that is safe, evidence-based, and tailored to your individual needs. My role is to provide you with information, guidance, and support throughout your pregnancy.

If specialist input is required, I work closely with a trusted network of professionals, including obstetricians, GPs, physiotherapists, osteopaths, naturopaths, and mental health specialists.

I love to support women planning to birth at home, at Lakes District Hospital in Queenstown, or at Southland Hospital in Invercargill.
