***I currently work in Queenstown, but will be working in Auckland from May 2027.***

My name is Kate Wicks, and I feel incredibly privileged to provide personalised midwifery care for women and their whānau during one of life’s most special journeys.

I have experience working at Auckland City Hospital and in rural Queenstown. I have experience caring for women with both straightforward and high-risk pregnancies, including those requiring specialist input.

I believe in physiological birth. My philosophy is centred on providing care that is safe, evidence-based, and tailored to your individual needs. My role is to provide you with information, guidance, and support throughout your pregnancy.

If specialist input is required, I work closely with a trusted network of professionals, including obstetricians, GPs, physiotherapists, osteopaths, naturopaths, and mental health specialists.

I love to support women planning to birth at home, birthing units, or hospitals.
