Hi 😀

I'm Jessica, a registered midwife of 15 years. Due to the current shortage of midwives in our area, I offer crucial early pregnancy care until you have a midwife who can provide full care.

I'm available to care for women from when you think you may be pregnant, until you have found a midwife, or to 16 weeks where I could transfer your care to the hospital community midwifery team.

You don't need to see your GP prior. It's best if you come straight to a midwife.

My service involves home visits covering early pregnancy information such as food safety, managing nausea, what to expect while pregnant, order any relevant blood tests, dating scans, early pregnancy screening including NIPT and prescribe early pregnancy vitamins & medications as required. I can also do referrals to specialists should your medical/obstetric history require it.

I also offer dedicated one on one postnatal care for 6 weeks after birth.
