Welcome to parenthood and if you are a repeat offender welcome back to life with a newborn. It’s the hardest job we’ll ever love. I think our kids teach us more than any other event in our lives, so buckle up and hold on tight.

I am an experienced midwife with over 20 years of taking care of families. I believe having babies is a life event, not a medical one. We are meant to do this and my job is to listen, support and advise. I believe in evidenced based care that puts you in control of decision making. I am here to guide you every step of the way but my ultimate goal is to instill a belief in yourself, your body and your baby.

I am new to New Zealand and loving the new adventure. I am a US trained midwife and women’s health nurse practitioner. I’ve had the honour of attending about 1500 births in my career but humble enough to know I am still learning. I support VBAC, low intervention birth, births that need extra support, attending a cesarean with you if needed and everything in between.
