This may be the first step you have taken since finding out you are pregnant, and there is a lot of unknown especially if its your first time!

Working with a midwife ensures you have all your needs met including blood tests, ultrasound scans and any pregnancy referrals that may be recommended.

I believe that pregnancy, childbirth, and the newborn phase is the most natural event to occur in our lives. That doesn’t mean it is easy or fun at every step of the way, it is normally a time of every emotion that you can think of. Not to mention the difference you will see in your body. There is a massive range of normal. My role is to provide you with honest, evidence based advice and information so that you can make the best decision for you and your pregnancy with your whānau without feeling that you are being made to do something.

It is important you birth somewhere you feel safe, however that doesn’t always mean hospital and we will discuss all the options so you can decide with all information available what is right for you.
