My name is Hinemoa and I whakapapa to Te Arawa and Ngai Tūhoe.

I am passionate about supporting normal pregnancy and birth while also keeping you and your pēpi safe. To this end, my preference is to birth at home or in one of our wonderful birth centres, only utilising the hospital as needed. I strive to help you achieve your pregnancy and birth goals, providing information and support to you and your whānau while advocating for your preferences and needs through informed choice and consent.

My midwifery partner Eden Gibson and I work with the Āio Nuku Midwives and we all strive for a good work life balance.
