Congratulations, you're on the journey to parenthood, I'd love to be part of it. I've been a midwife for 30 years, the last 20+ with Hibiscus Coast Midwives, and I still love what I do as much as ever. Pregnancy and birth are normal life events, and every woman's body is inherently capable of growing and birthing her baby. My role is to support and guide you, helping you build trust in your body along the way. Physiological, undisturbed birth is where my passion truly lies - home birth and water birth in particular, where women can labour instinctively, free from unnecessary intervention. For primary birthing I use Warkworth Birthing Unit, a midwifery-led facility offering that same home-like environment. For those who prefer a hospital birthing environment, I'm equally confident and comfortable there too, involving obstetricians as needed for safe, appropriate care. I also care for women needing an elective caesarean. I keep my caseload manageable so every family gets genuinely personalised care.
