I’m Grethe, a Lead Maternity Carer (LMC) midwife based in Wellington. I’ve lived here most of my life and feel privileged to walk alongside māmā and whānau through pregnancy, birth, and the early weeks of parenthood.

I offer personalised, continuity-based care and am passionate about building trusting relationships with the families I work with. I’m committed to providing safe, respectful, and culturally appropriate care, and I hold a special interest in supporting Māori and Pasifika whānau (if this applies to you, please let me know in your enquiry).

My clinic is located in Newtown, just across from Wellington Hospital, and I run clinics on Mondays.
