I am Ganesha, mother of two and midwife. I trained in provincial Victoria, Australia, and then moved to Aotearoa/New Zealand in 2007 to experience working within a maternity system based on partnership and continuity of care. I have practised in a range of clinical settings, from being a core midwife in a tertiary hospital to providing home births.

Our midwifery philosophy is steeped in the understanding of childbirth as a physiological process as well as a rite of passage. We aim to walk with you on this journey, providing information, support and care that is reflective of your values and needs as a unique whānau.

Laura and Ganesha work as a team to provide care from conception to early parenting. This means you are booked with both midwives to provide a sustainable work life for us as parents while providing continuation of care to your whānau.
