I work with three other very experienced midwives and together we have formed Kōwhai Collective Midwives. Our team-based approach to midwifery care ensures that clients reap the benefits of our collective wisdom. We provide wrap-around evidence based education and 24/7 on-call labour and birth care, supporting every type of Hawke's Bay family and any kind of birth you choose, including home birth.

I have been self-employed for the past 5 years, and thoroughly enjoyed establishing meaningful, strong relationships with my clients. I know this new, more sustainable way of working will improve our ability to continuously give clients the best care possible.

Prior to becoming self-employed, I spent 10 years at Hawke's Bay Hospital including 6 years in the High Risk Obstetric Clinic and the Community Midwifery Team. I attended every type of birth happening at hospital as well as plenty of experience with neonatal and obstetric emergencies.
